Telegate Ltd. develops, manufactures and markets cable telephony systems. Multigate, Telegate’s first product, includes: telephony services, high speed Internet access, cordless phone, ISDN, bandwidth on-demand services, WAN interconnections and VPL (Virtual Private Lines) all available over the cable TV infrastructure. Yoram Oron served as Telegate’s Chairman of the Board from its inception in 1993 until its acquisition.
In October 1999, Telegate was acquired by Terayon Communication Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: TERN).
Motorola acquired Terayon in April 2007. |
