Ran Gartenberg contributes financial and economic expertise to Vertex Venture Capital. He worked as an investment banker with Evergreen Capital Markets - Robertson Stephens, a leading international VC and investment house where he managed private placements for private and public technology companies. Between 1995 and 1998, Mr. Gartenberg served as a Senior Economist for the Israel Corporation, one of the largest diversified Investment Companies in Israel, evaluating investment and divestment opportunities, performing business and financial due diligence, and monitoring the group`s portfolio company budgets and financial statements. Prior to completing his graduate studies, Ran was a Supervising Auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Israel. Mr. Gartenberg holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University, Israel, a CPA license from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, and an M.B.A. from New York University, USA.
