DAVID HELLER
Managing Partner,
joined in 1997
David Heller has
extensive deal making and fundraising experience
in Asia. He practiced law for five years at
the law firm Wakabayashi & Watanabe, Tokyo,
Japan. In Israel, he was a partner in the law
firm Yossi Avraham & Co. where he specialized
in M&A transactions and was also responsible
for Asia-related deals. Prior to joining Vertex
Venture Capital, Mr. Heller co-founded and raised
capital for the first Israeli venture capital
fund tailored for Japanese corporate investors
- The Israel International Funds (IIF). At Vertex,
in addition to executing investments and divestments,
Mr. Heller led the capital raising from Japanese
and Taiwanese investors for Vertex II and is
responsible for business development activities
for the Vertex portfolio companies in Japan.
Mr. Heller is a member of the Board of Directors
of the Israel-Japan Chamber of Commerce. He
has been a member of The Israel Bar since 1985.
Mr. Heller earned an LL.B from the Hebrew University
of Jerusalem, Israel and an LL.M from Kyoto
University, Japan. |
