Remy de Tonnac is the CEO of INSIDE Contactless, the world leader semiconductor supplier for contactless cards and NFC microprocessor chips.

Prior to that Remy was a Partner of VERTEX Management funds in Europe and sat on the board of several technology and services companies of the VERTEX portfolio, including the chairmanship of INSIDE Contactless. Before that VC experience, Remy de Tonnac was with GEMPLUS, as a member of the executive committee of the group and as Chief Executive Officer, based in Singapore, from 1991 to 1998, and then in San Francisco. He was there the CEO of Gemplus Corp. US responsible for overseeing all field operations - including sales, marketing, manufacturing, technical support, research & development, finance and human resources in North and South America.

Remy holds a Master of Science Degree, with Honors, in Engineering & Applied Science from Ecole Centrale de Lille and a Degree in Economics from the University of Lille.Remy is married and a father of four children.
